Spring Fling Aftermath?!
A sparkly bird told me on the Ave last night that biting occurred.
Is this true??

Yes. There were witnesses & the police came. A creepy, bad end to a good night.

back in black
there was also: a cartwheel competition, underwear revelations...
oh, and then there was the horribly white dancing.
that was just at MGH.

Whoa, dude, your avatar is back. Now we can wonder if BossTweed is really covering or has multiple personalities.
Wasn't at the fling... where's the detailed gossip?

Name calling, beer throwing, teeth gnashing---I get all that. But biting?? That takes conflict to realms you don't want to visit.
We had a customer come to work this week--had a problem w/ a product. Salesguy offered solutions, but the customer insisted we call police, as he was
going to get violent. Which he did, throwing objects at the store's plate glass windows and toppling himself over in the process. By the time the
police carted him off to Harborview to get his meds checked (he went voluntarily), I had gone from "Whoa, what a jerk" to "There's something
off about this guy that 'jerk' doesn't capture."
Anyway, it's been a week of poorly-controlled anger, fortunately none of it mine.

See, now that's just the kind of thing that makes people afraid to dance, SushiBot. What's wrong with getting down if you're having a
good time? Why you gotta lay out that smack about "horrible" and "white"? You should try to be more of a nicey-poo. And dance. Did you dance at all? Or were you toooooo coooool for that?
Hmmm? I believe the appropriate phrase here is "put up or shut up, yo."

I was there.
I'm all about people having a good time and although I woundn't say it was horrible, I did comment to Ben the bartender that it looked like
a Dave Chappelle skit.

Eh, the best part of the sf was the afterparty at the Reverend's abode. Rev: thanks again for having us over to drink too much, indulge in more
of the dancing that sushirobot refers to, keep your neighbors up, and generally have a fantastic time.

Sensitive? Not at all, my dear 'Bot. On the one hand, I could infer by your lack of a preface lauding my ability to "get jiggy with it" that
you were de facto grouping me with the "horribly white" contingent. On the other, however, the true hand, I am a firm supporter of the rights of
sucky singers to sing, sucky dancers to dance, and sucky suckers to... well, you get the point.

to all and sundry i hearby apologize.
if my insensitive comments about the quality of the dancing offended anyone or causes anyone to hesitate to:
bust a move,
get jiggy,
hippy dance,
pop and lock,
do the caterpillar,
or otherwise throw down some electric boogaloo,
i am truly sorry.
not.
that said - i think it was a good party - i give compliments to the org staff for a job well done and for introducing some of us to the potency of
cider. i loved that stuff.

Wow. Biting, dancing--iSchoolers are just all-around dangerous! Folks are wrong to fear us merely for our formidable powers of indexing.

dancing?!
there was dancing?
i thought that was some sort of ritualistic, spasmistic, arhythmic, optimistic celebration marking the end of the term and school year.... (it was
fun, whatever it was!)

I think the bad blood between the two gals in question started with 540, and the biter may have heard the bitee telling me about her bad experience as
we were climbing the long, echo-y stairway up to 4th floor. I really can't imagine flying into a beer-flinging, biting rage for any
reason (but I'm a happy drunk), so I have to assume she heard some scathing comments and freaked out.
Crazy stuff.

Awesome & you're welcome! I'd never had that particular brew of cider before and found it a bit sweet for my tastes, so it's good to
hear that others liked it! All the brands I recognized were too spendy.
As for dancing, I had a blast shakin' my big white uncoordinated booo-tay, and wouldn't hesitate to do so again! When I'm surrounded by
friends I really don't care if I look like an idiot, as long as everyone is laughing and having fun!

Fling Pics
Fortunately, for the post-Fling partiers at the Rev's, most of the embarassing late night pics didn't come out due to a camera setting foul
I made in my altered condition. So, here's some pleasant and relatively non-incriminating photos of our flung-out evening.

I am sorry to say that there is documented evidence of me shaking my white-girl can with the Senator. How's that for blackmail?
And the Rev's party was one step away from becoming an orgy. Pent up librarians! I left in the nick of time (alas).

My God people, this is the tame stuff! I'm holding back the 1 am video with absolutely lovely incriminating audio documentation of
everyone's inebriation -- myself included -- I will be loyal to my fellow drunkards. In any case, while I checked with a few of the subjects
for posting approval, I forgot to add for the rest of you that I'll gladly remove any photos on request.

Loyalty to fellow drunkards -- yay!

Would anyone care to share the details of this biting event?
Minus real names, of course. You have piqued my curiosity to an extreme degree.

Can BoomBoom dance?
Has anyone ever seen evidence of BoomBoom attempting to dance or even heard far-off rumors of him doing so? Just curious.
Sorry, no bite-report for you E-Rocker.
